An oldie, but a goodie.
I learned a lot from doing this project, mostly because it was still very early in OTL’s history when I did it.
I built an RSVP system so that the bride-to-be (currently a bride; they got married a while ago but have kept the site up) could collect email addresses first, then send out messages to people with different RSVP statuses (replied, have not replied, have not gotten email, etc)
The design is straight-forward but attractive, and the navigation could not be simpler. There’s a great deal of personality that I injected because the client trusted me to, and that trust gave me confidence.
There are days when I wish it was easy to convincingly fake that level of confidence.
